Making the most of Power Torrent
Power Torrent increases your Intellect by 500. This of course gives you some spellpower increases across the course of the fight (96 Intellect averaged out). However, it also increases your mana pool by 7500. Since Innervate is now based off our maximum mana pool, it is important to make sure that your mana pool is as big as possible when you hit Innervate, to squeeze as much mana out of it as possible.
So by lining up your Power Torrent proc (and any other Intellect procs or items, such as Synapse Springs, Lightweave Embroidery or trinkets) with Innervate, you maximise your mana pool, and get extra back from Innervate.
By using Innervate against a Power Torrent proc, you will get 1500 extra mana. If you are doing this every 3 minutes, that’s ~42mp5.
