Gemming your gear is relatively simple:

  • Only match gem socket colours to activate your meta gem, or if the socket bonus is +20 Intellect or more.
  • Otherwise, gem with Intellect (red) gems.

You can also use Reckless gems in red slots if you need the haste, but try to put them into yellow slots first.
